Before becoming a freelance translator I was employed in the French offices of several international companies in a host of sectors (commercial research, tour operator, marketing for luxury perfumes, project co-ordinator in the food sector).
Today, that hands-on experience is channelled into translation projects.
Whether localizing a website, sub-titling a corporate film or translating a trade magazine, my objective is always the same: to capture the spirit and the energy of the original document in a text that does not read like a… translation!
